Next Phase Is This
“Voyager’s Return” is a heavy watch for an early episode, and it hits hard right from the jump. The plot centers on Earth’s old technology coming back to haunt Moonbase Alpha in the worst way possible. Voyager One, an unmanned probe launched back in 1985, crosses paths with the wandering moon. But it is definitely…
“Deep Cover” is easily one of the most gripping episodes of Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2, completely shifting the dynamic by taking the Dark Knight out of his cape and putting him behind bars. With Rupert Thorne missing and a chaotic, paranoid Eddie Nygma taking over the criminal underworld, Gotham is spiraling out of control….
This episode is easily one of the most memorable standouts of the first season because it completely nails that eerie, philosophical sci-fi vibe. The whole setup hits you immediately when Commander Koenig and the crew land on the frozen, unforgiving planet of Ultima Thule. Instead of finding a completely dead world, they stumble upon the…
“War Games” is hands down one of the most intense and memorable episodes from the entire first season of Space: 1999. This episode completely shatters the usual safety net of sci-fi television by showing a worst-case scenario where Moonbase Alpha is absolutely devastated. When a nearby planet launches an unprovoked, brutal attack using Earth-style Mark…
Episode 1, “Brute Force,” sets a heavy tone on Prime Video by using Rupert Thorne’s trial to throw Gotham into chaos while a gun-toting, unhinged Eddie Nygma steps up as a real menace. It feels fresh because Nygma isn’t just playing polite riddler games; he’s moving like a violent mob enforcer, giving Batman a hard…
Space 1999 is definitely one of those shows that makes you sit back and just process what you just watched, and season one, episode three, “Collision Course,” is the perfect example of that. The whole setup feels like a classic, high-stakes survival story at first. The crew on Moonbase Alpha realizes a massive asteroid is heading…
The whole plot centers on Ian McShane’s character, Anton Zoref, who gets possessed by this strange, glowing alien energy source. What makes it great is how he essentially becomes a human vacuum for heat and electricity. Watching him drain the warmth out of regular lightbulbs and eventually move on to freeze his own crewmates to…
Honestly, the first episode is an absolute trip, especially for something that came out way back in the mid-70s. You have Commander John Koenig taking over Moonbase Alpha, and right away, things are a total mess. People are getting brain-fried by some mysterious sickness just days before this massive space mission. Koenig has to play…
Sooo, B2K is back and with a new single and music video. I heard a rumour years ago that Raz B was in prison for rape. If he was, he got out and is back to making music with the other three. Raz B didn’t get solo vocals, but he harmonized or whatever you can…
The Velvet Web is the second episode of the Doctor Who serial The Keys of Marinus, and Episode 22 of Season 1 overall. It first aired on April 18, 1964. The series stars the First Doctor, played by William Hartnell, traveling with his granddaughter Susan (Carole Ann Ford) and companions Ian Chesterton (William Russell) and Barbara Wright (Jacqueline Hill)….
