Next Phase Is This
“Ring My Bell” is a bright, lighthearted 1991 hip-hop track that served as a major single from the duo’s multi-platinum album Homebase. Built upon a sleek, updated interpolation of Anita Ward’s classic 1979 disco hit of the same name, the song features a bouncy, danceable urban rhythm layered with sharp turntable scratches from DJ Jazzy…
Let me make this clear. I was never a Marvel comics fan, but a DC one, but I was pulling for this movie to be great, and I loved the theme for this movie initially. An old school 60s vibe with the heroes and Herbie and a new member of the team, Franklin, a baby…
Tiffany: Famous for her mall tours and the #1 hit “I Think We’re Alone Now.” She possessed a raspy, soulful voice that appealed to the late 80s teen market. Debbie Gibson: A “triple threat” who wrote, produced, and performed her own #1 hits (like “Foolish Beat”) at age 17. She leaned more into a theatrical, clean-cut pop aesthetic.
G-Unit: Led by 50 Cent, they represented the gritty, New York street-rap scene of the early 2000s, focusing on mixtapes and a “tough” collective identity. St. Lunatics: Led by Nelly, they brought a melodic, Midwest (St. Louis) “twang” to hip-hop. Their style was more party-oriented and commercial compared to G-Unit’s “gangsta rap” aesthetic.
A couple of lowlives want to silence chief so he won’t spill the beans on their sinister operation, and it almost worked. It’s Superman to the rescue and not a moment so soon. The employees are feeling Perry’s pinch and tired of his grunts and pushings around. That guy needs to chill. The heat from…
This episode was fascinating and exciting. Perry’s sister are in Haiti at the mercy of a criminal who had painted his face to make people think he was a black Haitian. But when Superman figured it out the jig was up he was in big trouble and he’s probably somewhere in prison almost a hundred…
This episode was pointless andmeaningless. A parakeet was givcen the missing piece of a formula that can be used as exoplosives and the scientist behind it was captured by some bad guys. Then Superman intervened and got those jokers straight into the hands of the law. The scientist didn’t even realize the bird was switced…
So Superman is unfazed by the effects of a cursed bopx and Lois plain doesn’t believe in it, thinking it’s just superstatition and almost gets killed touching it. In fact it got her paralyzed and almost killed. Now Jimmy and Superman team up to take down a scientist or caretaker of his newly purchased box…
So Jimmy Olson’s mind isn’t playing tricks on him or is it? He is reading a novel and then weird things start happening to him like in the book or as a result of reading the book. No Perry or Lois but Clark and Superman are available throughout this whole fasaad. Eventually it’s cleared up…
This story had potential but they ruined it. Jimmy becomes ediutor-in-chief for a day and almost gets killed by a gangster. Then Lois got involved and they almost die. Now help has arrived and saves the day. But Clark and Perry were in Clark’s office and overheard everything. The whole works. Perry is somewhat jealous…
